4-Cyclohexylaniline is a quinoline derivative that is an amine, which is a type of chemical substance. It has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of cholesterol by competitively inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase. 4-Cyclohexylaniline also inhibits the production of estrogen, which may be due to its ability to inhibit aromatase, an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of androgens into estrogens. This product has been shown to have a degenerative effect on cells in culture and can be used as a cancer treatment. 4-Cyclohexylaniline binds to human food proteins by hydrogen bonding with amino acid side chains, which prevents it from being absorbed into the bloodstream.
