Product Information
Caesalpin J is a brazilin that has been shown to activate cellular camp, inhibit the synthesis of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase, and 2-d nmr. It also inhibits the production of tyrosinase, which is an enzyme involved in melanin biosynthesis. Caesalpin J has been found to have anticompetitive effects on cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase, which is an enzyme that breaks down cyclic nucleotides. This inhibition leads to increased levels of cAMP in cells. Caesalpin J also has an inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation and antiplatelet activities.
