N-p-coumaroyl-Octopamine is a recombinant protein that belongs to the family of flavonoid derivatives. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the production of TNF-α, an inflammatory cytokine. N-p-coumaroyl-Octopamine can be extracted from plants including Polygonatum and Solanum tuberosum. It has spectroscopic properties that are similar to those of chlorogenic acids found in plants like Capsicum annuum and tannins found in plants like genus Calyx.
