Description:
2-Chloro-3-methylpyridine is an organic solvent that is used as a solvent for extraction of metals and other chemicals. The chlorine in the molecule can form strong hydrogen bonds with chlorine or aryl chlorides. Copper chloride can reduce 2-chloro-3-methylpyridine to generate n-oxide.
