Product Information
- Aniline,4-chloro-3,5-difluoro- (6CI,8CI)
- 4-Chloro-3,5-difluoroaniline
4-Chloro-3,5-difluoroaniline (4CDA) is a quinoline that can be synthesized by nitration of 4-chloro-3,5-difluorobenzenamine with nitric acid and sulfuric acid. The nitro group in the molecule reacts with sulfolane to form ortho-nitroquinolines. This reaction is followed by oxidation of the ortho-nitroquinolines, which results in the formation of aminoquinolines and a nitrated 4CDA. This transformation can be detected using gas chromatography or liquid chromatography.
