Description:
5-Chloro-2-Fluoro-3-Methylphenylboronic Acid is the anhydrous boronic acid that is used as a reagent in organic synthesis. It can be used to activate nitro compounds, including nitrobenzene, which can then be converted to diazo compounds or amines. 5-Chloro-2-Fluoro-3-Methylphenylboronic Acid is also used in the synthesis of boronic acids and other aryl boronic acids. Sources include 3,4,5 trichlorobenzaldehyde and 2,4 dichlorophenylphosphine oxide.
