Product Information
Trifluoromethyl-pyrazol-1-ylamine is a tribasic acid that is used in the production of alkyl sulfonates, which are used as solvents and emulsifiers in paints, coatings, and adhesives. It is a byproduct of the manufacture of fatty acids. Trifluoromethyl-pyrazol-1-ylamine can be further reacted with chlorides to produce alkyl sulfonates. The chloride may be recycled or modified to produce other compounds. Trifluoromethyl-pyrazol-1-ylamine reacts with magnesium metal to form an organic solvent for the synthesis of various surfactants and fatty acid esters. This chemical has viscosity and sulphite properties that make it useful for the manufacture of cellulose acetate.
