Description:
N'-(6-Chloro-2-Fluoroacridin-9-Yl)-N,N-Diethylpentane-1,4-Diamine is a synthetic compound that has the properties of a constant. It can be used to measure guanine in DNA. N'-(6-Chloro-2-Fluoroacridin-9-Yl)-N,N-Diethylpentane-1,4-Diamine fluoresces at a wavelength of 500 nm and has an extinction coefficient of 3800 M−1 cm−1. The compound is also able to bind to virus particles and is being investigated as a potential antiviral drug for hepatitis B and C.
