Product Information
- Benzonitrile, 3,5-Difluoro-4-Formyl-
4-Cyano-2,6-difluorobenzaldehyde is a type of aromatic compound. It has a phenyl ring with a cyano group attached to it. The carbon and nitrogen atoms in the molecule are not symmetrical and therefore this molecule is chiral. When 4-cyano-2,6-difluorobenzaldehyde interacts with an acid catalyst, it can be dehydrated to form an intermediate. This intermediate then reacts with an electron donor to form a triazole as one of its products.
