Product Information
9-Anthrylmethylene)malononitrile is a photoinitiator that is used in the production of metal nanoparticles. It is a highly reactive molecule that can be used to initiate polymerization reactions, such as the production of triethyl orthoformate from diode and active methylene. 9-Anthrylmethylene)malononitrile has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, such as chloroacetone, which are found in many human pathogens. This compound also has an effect on Gram-negative bacteria and yeast, but does not have an effect on mammalian cells.
