Description:
Diethyl-4-aminobenzylphosphonate is a chelating agent that binds to copper ions. It is used in the synthesis of organic compounds, such as x-ray diffraction analysis, and for the separation of metals. This compound is also used in analytical chemistry to measure levels of potassium. Diethyl-4-aminobenzylphosphonate forms a water soluble salt with potassium and isothiocyanate.
