The debromination process has been shown to occur through the formation of polymeric matrix. 9,10-Dibromoanthracene has high values and it was found to be a good ligand for palladium complexes. 9,10-Dibromoanthracene has been shown to have receptor activity, which may be due to its ability to bind with aromatic hydrocarbons. This compound also emits light when exposed to UV light or irradiated with electron beams.
