Description:
2,2-Difluoro-1,3-dimethylimidazolidine is a fluorinated derivative of imidazolidine. It has been shown to have high binding affinity for DNA and RNA. This compound has been used for the diagnosis of infectious diseases such as HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. 2,2-Difluoro-1,3-dimethylimidazolidine has been shown to be active against gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
