Product Information

Name:
1-(difluoromethyl)-2-nitrobenzene
Description:

1-(difluoromethyl)-2-nitrobenzene (1,2-DNFB) is a cross-coupling reagent used to form carbon-sulfur bonds. This chemical is highly electrophilic and nucleophilic, making it an excellent heteroaromatic coupling partner. It has been shown to be effective for the synthesis of heterocycles and other biomolecules, as well as in the advancement of stereoselective chemistry. 1,2-DNFB has been shown to be a catalyst for different reactions, including transfer hydrogenation, hydrocyanation, and other catalytic transformations. In addition, this reagent can be used in stoichiometric amounts with sulfur or oxygen to produce organic compounds containing sulfur or oxygen atoms in their structure.
