2,4-Dichloro-3-fluoroaniline is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of organic compounds known as phenylamines. It is used in industry as a conditioner for textile fibers and as a hydrogen peroxide solution. 2,4-Dichloro-3-fluoroaniline can also be used in the production of various active compounds including dyes and pharmaceuticals. This compound has been successfully synthesized by bromination of aniline with sodium hypophosphite, followed by the addition of sulfuric acid. The product mixture is then heated to produce hydrogen peroxide, which reacts with copper salt to form 2,4-dichloro-3-fluoroaniline.
