Description

Dibenzo[b,d]furan-3-amine hydrochloride is an amine that belongs to the group of staphylococci. It has been shown to have apoptotic effects on primary tumors and has been used in the treatment of infectious diseases such as bladder cancer. Dibenzo[b,d]furan-3-amine hydrochloride inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the N-terminal amino acid chain and prevents it from being translated into a polypeptide. This drug also has antibacterial properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit bacterial growth by interfering with cell wall synthesis. The antibacterial activity of dibenzo[b,d]furan-3-amine hydrochloride is effective against Salmonella typhimurium but not against Escherichia coli or Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
