Description:
6,7-Dimethoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid hydrochloride is a novel anticancer agent that inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells. This drug has antiproliferative effects in colorectal carcinoma cells and may be used for the treatment of cancers with similar profiles. In addition to inhibiting cell growth, 6,7-Dimethoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid hydrochloride also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and may be used as a chemopreventive agent.
