Description:

2,7-Dibromo-9,9-diphenyl-9H-fluorene is a sensing molecule that can be used as a polymer. It has been synthesized to form a monomer with the skeleton of 2,7-dibromo-9,9-diphenyl-9H-fluorene. This monomer is permeable and fluorescent. The fluorescence of this monomer can be altered by stacking in order to produce different colors. The fluorescence intensity can also be modified by changing the electron transfer rate through the polymer.
