Description:
4,6-Dichloro-5-pyrimidinecarbaldehyde is a synthetic chemical that is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of other compounds. It is synthesized from chlorine and amines, typically primary amines. The reaction yield of 4,6-Dichloro-5-pyrimidinecarbaldehyde can be increased by adding catalysts such as potassium chloride or sodium amide to the reaction mixture. This compound binds to the protein Jak2 and inhibits its kinase activity.
