Description:
5,7-Dibromo-1H-indole-2,3-dione is a selenium compound that has been synthesized to be used as an analog of vinblastine. It has anti-cancer activities and has been shown to inhibit the growth of primary tumor cells in mice. 5,7-Dibromo-1H-indole-2,3-dione also has pharmacokinetic properties that are similar to those of vinblastine sulfate. This compound can be used in cancer research as a test compound for assessing anticancer activity.
