3-(1,3-Dioxolan-2-yl)phenyl]amine is a non-naturally occurring amino acid that is synthesized from the condensation of diaminobutyric acid and diethylenetriamine. 3-(1,3-Dioxolan-2-yl)phenyl]amine has been shown to inhibit leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), which is an antigen that regulates the proliferation of T cells. This compound also has been shown to have an amide residue, which may be important for its activity. 3-(1,3-Dioxolan-2-yl)phenyl]amine inhibits colonic adenocarcinoma by reducing the expression of messenger RNA (mRNA). It also reduces the production of methyl ethyl (MA) and promotes the production of colony stimulating factor (CSF).
