Product Information
Dibenzo[b,d]furan-4,6-dicarboxylic acid is a chiral molecule that can be used as a denaturant in the protein crystallization process. It has been shown to stabilize amyloid fibrils and prevent their aggregation into plaques. Dibenzo[b,d]furan-4,6-dicarboxylic acid has also been used to study the formation of amyloid fibrils by binding to plasma proteins and forming cocrystals with them. It has been shown that dibenzo[b,d]furan-4,6-dicarboxylic acid inhibits the production of amyloidogenic peptides through kinetic studies. Dibenzo[b,d]furan-4,6-dicarboxylic acid binds to ligands on cells and triggers an increase in turbidity by inhibiting cell growth. This
