2,2-Difluoro-1,3-propanediol is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of propyls. It reacts with potassium carbonate to produce potassium chloride and carbon dioxide gas. Finally, it reacts with potassium hydroxide to produce potassium fluoride and hydrogen gas.
