Product Information
4,6-Dichloro-3-nitropyridin-2-amine (4,6-DNP) is a potent and selective inhibitor of the tyrosine kinase. It inhibits proliferation of human B cells by blocking the b-cell receptor signalling pathway. 4,6-DNP has been shown to inhibit the growth of activated lymphocytes and induce apoptosis in T cells. The compound has also been shown to inhibit proliferation of human myeloid leukemia cells by targeting tyrosine kinases that are involved in cell signaling pathways. 4,6-DNP has also been shown to inhibit protein synthesis in cancer cells by inhibiting the activity of multikinase enzymes that phosphorylate proteins on serine or threonine residues.
