2,3-Dihydro-1,4-benzodioxin-5-ol is a chemical compound that has been found to outperform the current drugs in use for cytochrome P450 monooxygenase. It is an efficient and selective inhibitor of the enzyme and can be used as a lead compound for the development of more potent inhibitors.
