3,4-Dichloropyridazine is an organic compound that can exist in two different isomers. One of the isomers has a hydrogen bond to a nitrogen atom, while the other does not. These isomers are called cis and trans, respectively. The trans isomer has been shown to be less active than the cis isomer in a number of studies on hyperproliferative diseases. 3,4-Dichloropyridazine also has antihypertensive activity and antiviral properties. It also exists as polymorphs with acetonitrile and peroxide as impurities.
