Description:
2,3-Dimethoxy-5-sulfamoylbenzoic acid is a hydroxybenzamide derivative that is used in the synthesis of psychoactive compounds. It binds to the benzodiazepine site on the GABA receptor and enhances the effects of GABA. The compound has also been shown to be effective against cocaine addiction.
