Description:
2,3-Diamino-6-methoxypyridinedihydrochloride is a pyridine derivative that can be used as a precursor in the synthesis of 2,3-diamino-6-chloropyridine. It is prepared by reacting 2,3-diamino-6-chloropyridine with methanol and sodium methoxide to form the corresponding dihydrochloride. The compound is then neutralized with methoxide and reacted with methoxylation to yield the desired product.
