Description:
6,7-Dimethoxy-2-tetralone is a hydrogenated, functional group. It has been shown to possess the following physicochemical properties: solubility in water (1 g/L), melting point (150°C), and boiling point (220°C). This molecule also has a number of functional groups, including 3,4-dimethoxyphenylacetic acid and dopamine. 6,7-Dimethoxy-2-tetralone has been shown to be an allergen in some people. This compound also inhibits the d2 dopamine receptors and causes the release of peroxide from dopaminergic neurons.
