(2S,4S)-4-Diphenylphosphino 2-diphenylphosphinomethylpyrrolidine is an organic compound that is used as a ligand in asymmetric synthesis. It has been shown to be effective for catalyzing hydrogenations of carboxylic acids and hydrogenation reactions of arenes. The phosphine ligand can also be immobilized on solid supports such as silica gels and polystyrene beads. The ligand has been shown to be active in the hydrogenation of styrene with hydrogen fluoride (HF) as the catalyst.
