Description:
4,4'-Diaminobenzenesulphanilide is a coupling agent that can be used in the synthesis of nitrobenzene. It has been shown to inhibit the reaction between sulfuric acid and nitric acid. The inhibition effect of 4,4'-diaminobenzenesulphanilide is due to its ability to react with both sulfuric acid and nitric acid to form an insoluble product. This process prevents the formation of sodium sulfate and sodium nitrate, which are byproducts of the reaction.
