Description

N,N-Dimethylnicotinamide is an amide that is structurally similar to nicotinamide. It is a white solid at room temperature and has a melting point of 152°C. N,N-Dimethylnicotinamide has the chemical formula C6H8NNaO2 and the molecular weight of 146.14 g/mol. This compound has been shown to have cholinergic properties and may be used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease or dementia. N,N-Dimethylnicotinamide also interacts with calcium ions and can be used as a buffer solution for pH measurement.br>br>
