Description:
4,5-Dichloro-2-methylpyrimidine (4,5-DMP) is a chemical compound with two isomers. The energy and enthalpy values for the pyrolysis of 4,5-DMP have been determined using calorimetry experiments. The experimental study was carried out at high temperature (600°C). The experimental data were used to compute the thermochemical properties of 4,5-DMP. The results were compared to theoretical values obtained by computational modeling. It was found that the experimental and theoretical values agree well.
