Description:

Di(N-hydroxysuccinimidyl)glutarate (DSG) is a cross-linking reagent that is used for the fixation of biological samples. DSG forms covalent bonds with amine groups and can be used to immobilize biomolecules such as proteins. DSG has been shown to be biocompatible with human serum, which may be due to its low molecular weight and reactive nature. DSG has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which are likely due to its reactive nature.
