Description:
4,5-Dibromo-2-phenylpyridazin-3(2H)-one is a homologue of 4,5-dibromo-1,2-phenylenediamine that has been hydrolyzed to form an acetal. This product is used as a precursor for the synthesis of pyrazines and can also be decarboxylated to form 2,4,5-tribromopyridine.
