Description:
Seselin is a potent inducer of biological properties and has been used in the treatment of cancer and other diseases. It contains acetate extract from Rhizoma Gastrodiae, glycol ester, coumarin derivatives and skeleton. Seselin also has antinociceptive effects. The x-ray diffraction data indicated that seselin was a glycol ester with a hemolytic activity. Seselin can be synthesized by an asymmetric synthesis to produce imperatorin as the final product.
