Description:
(+)-2,6-Diamino-4,5,6,7- tetrahydrobenzothiazole is an inorganic base that is used to prepare pramipexole dihydrochloride. It has a catalytic effect on the chemical reaction between amines and potassium dichromate in the presence of hydrochloric acid. The (+)-2,6-Diamino-4,5,6,7- tetrahydrobenzothiazole monohydrate polymorph has been studied for its ability to bind with organic molecules such as proteins. This compound is not soluble in water but can be dissolved in organic solvents. It can also react with death receptors and lead to cell death by apoptosis.
