Description:
Dioctanoin is a molecule that has been shown to be involved in the angiogenic process. It is a potent inhibitor of protein kinase C and may inhibit other enzymes, such as phospholipases, which are involved in the release of arachidonic acid. Dioctanoin also prevents the production of cytosolic Ca2+ and stimulates axonal growth.
