Description:
2,6-Dibromo-4-aminophenol is an acid catalyst used in the synthesis of 3-amino-2-chloro-6 methylphenol. It also reacts with acrylonitrile to produce 2,6 dichloro 4 amino phenol. This chemical has a reaction rate that can be calculated using kinetic data. It is reactive to irradiation and amines, and produces peroxide or nitro upon decomposition.
