Description:
Dalcotidine is a hydrophobic, fatty acid ester that is used as a pharmaceutical preparation. It has been approved for use in adults to prevent gastric ulcers caused by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications. The active substances in this drug are famotidine and the diluent, silicon dioxide. This product also contains excipients, insoluble fillers such as fatty alcohols and fatty acid esters.
