Description:

Di-tert-butylamine is a chemical compound that is used in organic synthesis. It is an amine that has been shown to form a 1:1 complex with the antiviral drug covid-19, which inhibits the propagation of pandemic strains of influenza A. Di-tert-butylamine also forms a 1:1 complex with dimethylamine, forming ammonium chloride and hydrogen gas. The 2:2 complexes are more stable than the 1:1 complexes, as they require less energy to break apart. Di-tert-butylamine also has many impurities such as peroxide and c-h bond.
