Product Information
Disodium Lauriminodiacetate is a polycarboxylic acid that is used as a preservative in detergent compositions. It prevents the growth of microorganisms by inhibiting their cell membranes and fatty acids. Disodium Lauriminodiacetate is also used to remove damaged cells from biological samples, such as skin, hair, and nails. This product is often used on-line with a photomultiplier tube and fluorescent dye for identification of bacteria. Disodium Lauriminodiacetate has been shown to be effective against gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus epidermidis.
