Product Information
- N-[4-[(Carboxymethyl)methylamino]phenyl]-N-nitroso-glycine disodium saltBNN5Na
Dicarboxymethyl-N,N-dinitroso-p-phenylenediamine, disodium salt (DCDNP) is a modulating agent that binds to the soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) and inhibits the production of nitric oxide. DCDNP has been shown to induce apoptosis in human keratinocytes and endothelial cells. DCDNP also blocks the proliferation of endothelial cells by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2). DCDNP is not polymeric and as such can be used in cosmetic formulations without concern for thixotropy. It also has anti-inflammatory effects due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
