Description

2,6-Dichlorobenzaldehyde is a nucleophilic compound that has the ability to form hydrogen bonds. It reacts with phosphorus pentachloride to produce 2-chloro-4,6-dichlorobenzene. 2,6-Dichlorobenzaldehyde can be used in the synthesis of β-unsaturated ketones and anticancer drugs such as aziridines.
