Description:

Dipyrazino[2,3-f:2',3'-h]quinoxaline is a heterocyclic compound that is synthesized by reacting 2-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)benzaldehyde with 3-aminophenol. It has a redox potential of 0.12 V and can undergo oxidation reactions in alkaline solution. Dipyrazino[2,3-f:2',3'-h]quinoxaline has been shown to have an electron deficient group in the pyrrole ring, which reacts with electron rich groups found in other molecules such as water. This reaction is irreversible and results in the formation of oxidized dipyrazino[2,3-f:2',3'-h]quinoxaline.
