Description

Dodecamethylpentasiloxane is a polymeric matrix that is used in wastewater treatment. This material can be used as a coating for various surfaces to prevent the growth of microorganisms and can also be used as an antimicrobial agent in other products. Dodecamethylpentasiloxane has been shown to have good film-forming properties and is able to form films on various substrates. It has been shown to exhibit anthelmintic activity against nematodes, which are parasites that live in the intestinal tract of animals. Dodecamethylpentasiloxane has a hydroxyl group and cationic surfactant that allow it to function as an oxidation catalyst, which can oxidize boron nitride at high temperatures.
