Description

Dimethylbenzyl chloride is an aromatic hydrocarbon that is used as a precursor to other chemicals and pharmaceuticals. This compound is synthesized by the chlorination of benzene in the presence of a catalyst, such as aluminum chloride or phosphorus pentachloride.
