Description

Diaminophenoxyethanol sulfate is a hydroxy compound with the molecular formula CHNO. It is an unsaturated fatty acid that has been used in cosmetics as an emollient, foam booster, thickener, and viscosity agent. Diaminophenoxyethanol sulfate can be used to color cosmetics and sunscreens. This compound has a sodium salt of sulfate ester that is soluble in water. Diaminophenoxyethanol sulfate has been shown to be insensitive to temperature changes and has a high degree of water solubility. The nitrogen atoms on its molecule are reactive and can form nitrous acid when exposed to active oxygen.
