Description:
4,4'-Dimethoxy diphenyl disulfide is a functional group that can be found in cb1 receptor ligands. It is an imine and alkenoic bond cleavage catalysed by rhodanese. 4,4'-Dimethoxy diphenyl disulfide has been shown to have locomotor activity in mice and rats. The nmr spectra of this compound show the presence of two double bonds separated by a single carbon-carbon bond (cis and trans). This chemical also has additives such as photooxidation that can affect its properties.
