2,3-Dichlorobenzoyl cyanide is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of aminoguanidines. It has been used as a pharmaceutical substance in the treatment of bacterial infections. 2,3-Dichlorobenzoyl cyanide is also known as an immunosuppressant and can be used for the treatment of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The synthesis of 2,3-Dichlorobenzoyl cyanide requires phosphorus pentoxide, nitro, element analysis, chloride, fluorine, hydroxyl group and magnesium oxide. In order to produce this chemical compound, it must be heated in a dehydrating atmosphere at a temperature between 200°C - 220°C for about 1 hour. There are two forms of this drug: hydrated and dry. The active substances are obtained from the dry form by reacting with ammonia or sodium methoxide.
